Golf Course - The 18th Hole

The best hole on the golf course. This par 5 finishing hole is 501 yards from the back tees. It combines shot making, beauty, and risk reward to make up what I believe to be the best finishing hole in the area. A good drive is at the left sand trap in the fairway with a slight draw. Your next shot will depend on the wind and your ability. You will have about 215 yards into a green that is all carry. Katy pond starts at about 130 yards parallel right of the fairway and budges right up next to the front edge of the green. If you lay up, make sure to start the ball far enough left as the fairway slopes severely to the right. The big green makes a long putt an extreme challenge. Do not be above the hole on this green either!  This is truly one of the most breathtaking holes featured at golf courses in Minnesota!
